VYPE: What are your personal goals this year and how is the season going?
Madison: My personal goal was to grow better at soccer every day and be a person that any of the younger girls feel comfortable to talk to or ask questions to. We did amazing this season, we didn’t make it to the playoffs, but we played our hardest and we will work even harder towards it next year.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Madison: The most fun this year I would say isn’t a certain day but the process of this season, you never know how your day will go, but knowing you have practice with your friends and you’re playing a sport you love with no other worries at that time would be my favorite time every single day of the year we are out there.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Madison: My favorite teacher would have to be Mrs. Shelton her crazy personality and kind heart is just what I need to get through the day.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Madison: My favorite athletic memory is making it to the playoffs last year. The excitement we had together as a team was awesome, and now it gives us a goal to reach again now we know we can do it.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Madison: The teammate that has the biggest impression on me would be my best friend Talia Martinez, not only does she keep me positive on the field, but we’ve been playing together since first grade, and she has helped me stay accountable ever sense.
VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?
Madison: Ava Manning would have to have the best coach Preddy impression. Ava and Madilynn are always making people laugh not just on the field, but they keep practices fun.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Madison: I would love to travel to Hawaii and have all my friends Talia, Izzy, Ella, Presley, and Haiden there while spending the days on the beach living life, but I would also love to see the Pearl Harbor Memorial in Hawaii, so I would have to give coach birth an invite too.
VYPE: If we gave you 500 dollars and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?
Madison: If I had to spend 500 dollars in the next 24 hours the first thing I’m doing is upping my shoe game and buying a pair of dunks. After that I would head to PacSun and pick out a rad outfit. With the remaining I would try to find something my biggest fan would love, my mom and give a thank you for the many things she’s done to make me the athlete I am today.
VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.
Madison: I would like to say thank you to Paticia Martinez who opened my eyes to the game of soccer at a very young age, she has coached me, driven me back and forth from soccer games and practices and I know she will always have my back. Last is Matt Poe who always treats me like his own, he has been my coach for four years and prays for my success. I would’ve never played soccer before but with Matt’s confidence in my skills he would have him and me both hyped and ready to go play.
