VYPE: When did you first start playing your softball and what is your favorite part of playing it?
Camille: I probably started playing softball in pre-k / kindergarten. My favorite part is probably batting.
VYPE: How has your season gone so far and have you accomplished your goals for the season; what were those goals?
Camille: My season has gone really good this year. Yes I have accomplished my goals this year. My goals were to go into every game and play to my best abilities and do whatever my team needs me to do whether it’s pitching, encouraging, or picking them up after every inning or game.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Camille: I think the most fun I’ve had this year was when I went to a Maddie & Tae concert for my 16th birthday.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Camille: My favorite teacher is definitely my freshman biology teacher Mr. Spears, the reason he is my favorite teacher is because he made biology fun with all of the labs we did.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Camille: I think my favorite memory was when we went to Ringling and we brought our speaker on the bus and we were all singing at the top of our lungs.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Camille: The teammate that left the biggest impression on me definitely has to be Savannah Marris and Amerie Kinney. The reason I chose Sav was because she always would help with my pitching and making pitching practice fun and always made me go 110% every pitch. I also chose Kinney because she taught me to always keep my head up no matter what happens and to never let a game affect my emotions.
VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?
Camille: The person on my team that has the best impression of our coach definitely has and says the funniest things hands down has to be Bree Coronado. There’s never a time when she’s not making us laugh, she’s always making jokes and messing with the coach.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Camille: If I could go anywhere I would go to the Maldives with my aunt Hannah and my mom.
VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.
Camille: I just want to say a special thank you to my family, coach D,coach Allen and coach Kennedy, for always pushing me and getting me out of my comfort zones.
