ARDMORE TIGERS
Coach – DAEKWON CUBIT
2024-25 Record – 15-12
The Ardmore Tigers enter the new season with confidence and a renewed sense of direction as they begin a new chapter under Head Coach Daekwon Cubit, now in his first year at the helm. Coming off a 15–12 record, the Tigers bring together a balanced roster that blends experienced leadership with emerging talent, giving the program both immediate potential and long-term promise.
At the core of Ardmore’s identity is its backcourt, led by senior point guard Aedan Ellison (5-10, Sr.), a disciplined athlete known for his poise, work ethic, and ability to elevate teammates. Ellison sets the standard for the team, providing reliable ball-handling, high-level decision-making, and the kind of leadership that stabilizes the offense in pressure moments. Sophomore Jujuan Lee (5-10, So.) joins him in the backcourt, bringing quickness, instinctive playmaking, and the ability to push the tempo. His continued development gives the Tigers valuable depth and versatility at the point guard position.
The Tigers also boast strong production at shooting guard with K’Drien Miller (5-10, Jr.), a tough, energetic player capable of scoring at all three levels. Senior Chrisean Loftis (6-1, Sr.) adds size and length on the perimeter, using his veteran experience to impact the game as a shooter, defender, and vocal presence.
On the wings and in the frontcourt, Ardmore features a young but promising group led by Jamane Stubblefield (6-0, So.), an athletic small forward who excels in transition and creates matchup challenges with his strength and speed. Trindon Jackson (6-3, So.) provides valuable versatility as both a small forward and power forward, offering rebounding, defensive mobility, and interior scoring ability. Senior Waylon Smith (6-2, Sr.) anchors the paint with toughness and physicality, giving Ardmore a reliable interior defender and consistent force on the boards.
Coach Cubit’s emphasis on communication, effort, and defensive intensity has already raised the team’s practice standard. With improved depth, balanced scoring options, and a roster committed to growth, the Tigers are positioned to make steady strides throughout the season. If chemistry continues to build, Ardmore has the tools to become a dangerous matchup by midseason and a legitimate contender when postseason play arrives.
