Coach: Debra Manley
20-21 Record: 12-7
There are a few holes to fill in the starting lineup for head coach Debra Manley, but that is not deterring her excitement for the upcoming season. “We lost four starters to graduation and have a lot of big shoes to fill this year,” said coach Manley. “We have a good nucleus of girls coming back but we are very young at key positions.” One player bringing senior leadership to the court is Khalayah Willis (5-8, Sr.) who is an excellent three-point shooter averaging 12 points a game with 3.0 assists last season. Coach Manley calls Willis a “great all-around student-athlete, on and off the floor.” Chloe Rucker (5-8, Sr.) can play the forward or center spot for the Lady Tigers. Rucker can score inside or outside and is an excellent rebounder. Crislyn Booker (5-9, Jr.) is a power forward who has quickness and the ability to get to the rim. Kierra Dorsey (5-9, Fr.) is a young player expected to help the team in the post. Dorsey is developing into a great rebounder and could see a lot of minutes this season. Charli Fuller (5-5, Sr.) is a quick guard and a salty defender. Also look for Amyria Williamson this season. Williamson is an unselfish guard who always puts the team first. Ally Potts (6-1, Jr.) will back up the post position this season. Coach Manley said Potts is a “great student, player and even better teammate.”
