VYPE: What grade are you in, and what sports do you play?

Geno: I am a sophomore at Ardmore High School. I am on the football and tennis teams, and I plan to rejoin the basketball team next season.

VYPE: What accomplishment are you most proud of?

Geno: That would be qualifying for state in tennis my freshman year.

VYPE: What have your sports taught you to help you be a better person?

Geno: Football has taught me no matter how many times you get knocked down to get back up and keep going. Football has helped me understand there will be failures but it’s important to keep fighting and working toward my goals. Resilience is a must.

VYPE: What teammate, current or past, has made the biggest impression on you?

Geno: Javon Singleton, because he always believed I could play at the next level. He was always willing to teach me and encourage me on the field. He is a great team leader.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Geno: My mom is my biggest inspiration because no matter how hard things gotten she was always there to support me. She pushes me to be a better person. She believes in me when I doubt myself. She is very encouraging.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?

Geno: My favorite teacher is Mr. Roberts cause he has never given up on me. He encourages me daily.

VYPE: If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would you go and who would you take with you?

Geno: If i could go anywhere on a summer vacation, i would go to Jamaica. I would bring my best friends, Marcus Foard and Aiden Roberson.

VYPE: What is the best advice you have ever received?

Geno: The best advice anyone has given me is failure isn’t a bad thing if you grow from your mistakes. Failure is part of success!
