VYPE: What are your personal goals this year and how is the season going?
Lyndzie: My personal goal for the year is to better myself mentally and physically. And the season is going great! I love all my new friends and the sport itself is the best thing to play.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Lyndzie: The most fun I have had in the last year has to be the away games this season, me and my friends always make those games seem the most fun, even if we’re just talking on the bus.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Lyndzie: My favorite teacher has to be my drama teacher from this year, Mr. Collins, he’s super sweet and is always sure to check up on us if he senses we are having a bad day!
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Lyndzie: My favorite athletic memory is honestly all of them, but if I had to choose one it’d be the Altus game because I got to start the second half, and play the whole half. It was truly my favorite moment.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Lyndzie: My teammate that has left the biggest impression on me is Baylee Jordan. She has helped me on and off the field to better my defense skills and I could not be more grateful for having her help me.
VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?
Lyndzie: Our player who had the best impression of our coach is probably our captain Aiden Manning, she reminds me of coach in so many ways, at the beginning of the year I couldn’t tell them two apart. Our funniest player is Ava Manning, her sister. She’s so funny and always knows how to make us laugh after a hard practice or game!
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Lyndzie: If I could pick any place to go for summer vacation, I’m going to choose Hawaii. I think it’s so fun to explore an island as beautiful as it is! And if I could I’d take my best friends Ray, Kiya, Nikayla, and Yesika, I feel like we’d have the most fun.
VYPE: If we gave you 500 dollars and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?
Lyndzie: If you were to give me 500 dollars and I was to spend it in the next 24 hours, I’d probably spend it on new cleats, clothes, and books! Most likely go to the city for the clothes though, because Ardmore doesn’t have that many great clothing stores.
VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.
Lyndzie: I’d like to say hello to the new soccer season to say goodbye to all the lovely seniors who’ve helped me improve this season and thank you to my coach for making this sport the best sport I’ve played by far.
